Sunset on Port Meadow as Aristotle Lane railway bridge opens at last

The bridge across the railway at the end of Aristotle Lane in Oxford has been closed since January while Network Rail replaced the old one. Being Network Rail, they screwed up the project management, and a job which was estimated to last 6 months, then 9 months actually took 11 months. I will write about this incompetence separately.

Last night we took our first walk across the new bridge. This is what we have been missing:
